I Don’t See the Options to Add New Students
If you’re not seeing the option to add new students to your classes, don’t worry—we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to ensure your new students are added smoothly:
- Syncing with External Platforms: If you’re syncing your classes via Google Classroom, Clever, Microsoft Teams, or ClassLink, the option to add new students directly on Typing.com will not be available. Here’s what you need to do:
- Contact Your Data Manager: When using Clever or ClassLink, reach out to the person responsible for sharing data with Typing.com. They can make the necessary changes.
- Re-sync Overnight: After the changes are made, your account will re-sync overnight, and you’ll see the updates the next day.
- Adding Students in Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams:
- Google Classroom: Add your new students directly in Google Classroom first.
- Microsoft Teams: Add your new students directly in Microsoft Teams first.
- Re-sync Your Typing.com Account: After adding students in Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams, re-sync your Typing.com account to see the changes.
