How Time Spent Typing is Measured (Teacher & Student)

The system measures time spent typing by tracking only when the user is actively typing. This means that while a user/student is watching one of our videos, reading introductory content, or examining their stars at the end of the lesson screen–the timer isn't keeping track. The program literally takes into account count only the time spent typing,  as opposed to the entire time spent on a lesson.

In other words, If a user tries to keep time using an external timer or their smartphone, the time they see will always be different from what the system recorded (it likely shows more time than what our counter registered).
