What Is The Legacy Curriculum?
On August 1st, 2021, Typing.com introduced a new grade-based curriculum for K-12 students. Before this date, we offered what we now refer to as the Legacy Curriculum.
What is the Legacy Curriculum?
The Legacy Curriculum is structured into three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. It also includes a Digital Literacy module to prepare your students for success in the 21st century. Here’s a quick overview of its components:
- Skill Levels: The curriculum is divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels to cater to different student proficiencies.
- Digital Literacy: This module includes units on tech readiness and career preparation, equipping students with essential skills for their future.
- PLUS Features: With a PLUS membership, you'll also gain access to the coding module, enhancing your students' learning experience.
Continued Practice:
Once students complete the Legacy Curriculum, they can continue honing their skills with the Reinforcement and Stories units, keeping their practice engaging and varied.
The Legacy Curriculum provides a comprehensive and structured approach to learning typing, ensuring students build a solid foundation while also exploring advanced skills.
