Typing.com Test Prep Unit Requirements

Typing.com offers a new Test Prep Unit feature that is available to certain grade levels only. This article aims to provide clarification on the requirements to access the Test Prep Unit and guide users on how to check and change their class curriculum if necessary.

Test Prep Unit Requirements

The Typing.com Test Prep Unit is currently limited to curriculums for grades 2-8 only. If students are unable to access the Test Prep Unit, it is likely due to the class curriculum not being set to the required grade range. It is important to note that the class curriculum cannot be set to "Legacy" to access the Test Prep Unit.

Checking and Changing Class Curriculum

To check the current class curriculum, teachers can navigate to the assigned class and click on "Edit" to view the assigned grade range. If the assigned grade range does not fall within the 2-8th grade range, the curriculum will need to be changed to a supported grade range.

To change the class curriculum, teachers can click on "Edit" and select the appropriate grade range from the available options. Once the new grade range is selected, students should be able to access the Test Prep Unit feature and utilize its resources.
