Create an Account (Student)

Get ready to start an exciting adventure. Learning the skills you need for success at work and in life (whether now or in the future) has never been this easy and fun. Follow the steps below to create your new Typing.com student account and let the learning begin!

Pro-Tip 1: Children under the age of 13 are prohibited from creating their own accounts on this site. A parent or legal guardian needs to be the one creating the account for anyone under 13 years old. 

Pro-Tip 2: If your teacher is syncing his/her classes via Google Classroom or Clever Library, s/he needs to add the student to his/her class in Google Classroom or Clever first, and then, s/he has to re-sync the account by going to "My classes" and clicking on "Sync with Classroom or Clever"

If your teacher is syncing his/her classes via Clever or ClassLink, s/he needs to contact the school's IT administrator and have him/her add the student in Clever/ClassLink and then the need to wait for the account to re-sync (overnight)

Now, let’s get started. 

Step 1: Go to the sign-up page here.

Step 2: Enter a username (usernames must be unique across all of Typing.com), a password, and email (optional). You must read and agree with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and finally click “Sign Up.”

Pro-Tip 3: You can sign up with Google, Clever, Microsoft, or ClassLink by using one of the four buttons at the top of the sign-up form.
