Recover Your Password (Student)

If you forgot your password, by the end of this article you'll be able to recover it. 

Pro-Tip: You can recover your password only if you entered an email at the time you created your account. If you did not include an email and you're not part of a class or using Google SSO, you will need to contact support to reset your password.

If your student account is part of a class, please ask your instructor to provide you with your password or reset it for you.

If you created your account using Google SSO, you will have to reset your password using Google's "Forgot password" procedure.

Let’s get started.

Step 1: Go to the login page here.


Step 2: Click “Forgot your login info?”


Step 3: On the new page, enter the email address you used at the time you created your account and then click “Send Password Reset Email.”


Step 4: After a few minutes, check your email. You'll have a message in your inbox with instructions on how to reset your password.

If you don't receive an email from us within 10 minutes of requesting your "Send Password Reset Email," please contact us at support@typing.com for additional help.
