Tracking your progress and celebrating your achievements is an essential part of your typing journey. With the "Tests" tab on Typing.com, you have the opportunity to take typing tests and print certificates showcasing your accuracy and speed. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps to navigate the "Tests" tab, take typing tests, and print your certificates, ensuring you have everything you need to showcase your typing skills. Let's get started!

Step 1: Log in to your account here.

Step 2: Click Tests on the top menu.

Here, you'll find two types of tests available:

  • Timed Tests
  • Page Test

Step 3: Choose the type of test you'd like to take and click "Start Test." Complete the test to assess your typing accuracy and speed.

Print Your Certificate: To print your certificate, locate the typing test you've completed and click "Print Certificate." A new tab will open with your certificate, allowing you to download or print it for your records.

Additional Tips:

  • You can also sort the tests by date, speed, or accuracy to help locate the test you prefer to print.

  • If you can't see your name when attempting to print your certificate, ensure that you have entered your First and Last name in your account settings. If you're unable to do so, ask your instructor to enable this feature from the Class Settings page in their Teacher Portal.
  • If you're using Google SSO (single sign-on), note that you cannot change your name within Typing.com account settings. You'll need to update your information in your Google Account settings. Click here for a Google article with steps to change your Google account name.
