Can I Set/Change Typing Benchmarks?

The stars at the end of each screen are earned according to accuracy settings available on the Teacher Portal. You may leave on the default settings (95% for three stars and 90% for 2 stars) or you can change the accuracy benchmarks from your Class Settings page.

To do this, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Teacher Portal HERE.

Step 2: Navigate to “My Classes.”

Step 3: Select a class and click "Edit"

Step 4: Click on the “Grading” tab.

Step 5: Set the minimum accuracy required for earning 2 or 3 stars (you can also set a minimum speed if you wish to; by default, there is no minimum speed) and then click “Save all Changes.”
